Plataforma Makobo
on the 30 of July 2020, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, as Head of the Commonwealth, recognized Ruy M. Santos, representing Mozambique, as the 150th “Point of Light” of the Commonwealth in recognition of the outstanding work of the MAKOBO Platform.
The work that Plataforma Makobo engages in has touched so many lives. From engaging with those who do not have necessities, to helping individuals learn a trade so that they can reintegrate into society. Displaced individuals are assured a helping hand from Plataforma Makobo as they rally forces and donations to much needed disaster areas after cyclones or unrest.
