E-bike Tours
E-biking across the Southern Maputo coastline is notoriously fun. For the adventure of wind in your hair and the sea breeze hitting your face, there is no better experience.
Stop along various parts of the coastline and investigate small tidal pools. Enagge with villagers and enjoy a sense of camaraderie with your fellow cyclists as you make your way up the coastline.
Sample Itinerary
Day 1
Depart Maputo Harbour for Balistidae by boat. Lunch and afternoon at leisure with beach activities. Dinner at Bemuji’s Beach Bar.
Day 2
Full Day at Balistidae.
Kayak, SUP, Snorkelling. Dinner in remote setting.
Day 3
Morning Biking trip to Anvil Bay (tide dependent). Breakfast en route. Arrive at Anvil – hike to lake for dhow & lake excursion or safari into Maputo National Park. Check-in and lunch. Beach afternoon activity. Dinner and stargazing fireside chats. Evening bike ride (turtle season optional & low tide dependent).
Day 4
Morning ride to Ponta Malongane Villa. Breakfast at a local café. Village Tour and curio shopping. Arrive at villa for a beach picnic/barbecue. Settle into the afternoon with African chess, whale watching or a cooking class.
Dinner on villa patio. Optional – turtle biking trip after dinner.
Day 5
Early morning ride to Ponta D’Ouro for a dolphin encounter experience. Breakfast at villa. Day spent at the pool at leisure or beach activities. Optional turtle biking tour – evening .
Day 6
Early morning breakfast, check-out and transfer to Maputo Airport in 4×4 quantum.
